Meet Wonky, Percy and Alex

Meet Wonky, Percy and Alex, three very special ducks who have been part of our family since they were just five days old.

Since arriving, they have grown up exploring our yard, paddocks, and ponds, spending their days racing around, splashing in the water, and causing plenty of mischief. Each duck has developed their own unique personality, making them a much-loved part of The Meadows Mobile Farm.

Wonky

Wonky is our little fighter. Named after a crooked neck he was born with, he faced challenges from the very beginning. For the first few months, he seemed more interested in growing a fluffy little afro than his feathers, earning plenty of smiles along the way.

Despite the odds, Wonky continued to grow stronger every day. Today, he happily runs, swims, and explores alongside his friends. He may still have a slight head tilt, but that only adds to his charm and makes him one of the most recognisable members of the flock.

Percy

Percy is the largest of the trio and the self-appointed protector of the group.

Whether it’s feeding time or swimming time, Percy is always first in line and never misses an opportunity to race ahead. With his beautiful golden auburn feathers beginning to develop, he is growing into a truly handsome duck.

Confident, energetic, and always on the move, Percy keeps the group organised and makes sure nobody falls behind.

Alex

Alex is the character of the group. We suspect Alex may be the only female of the trio, although time will tell.

She certainly has plenty to say and isn’t afraid to let everyone know when the food bowl is empty or when she feels she deserves a little extra attention. Known for her dramatic side-eye and expressive personality, Alex keeps us entertained every single day.

Life at The Meadows Mobile Farm

Watching Wonky, Percy and Alex grow from tiny ducklings into confident young ducks has been a wonderful experience. They have become an important part of our farm family and are loved by everyone who meets them.

We hope that in the near future they will join us at events as part of The Meadows Mobile Farm, where visitors can meet them in person, hear their stories, and enjoy their waddling adventures, flapping feathers, and famously slappy feet.
