What animals do you bring?

Depending on the package selected, we may bring a variety of friendly animals including ponies, lambs, rabbits, goats, and turkeys. Our animals are carefully chosen to provide a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for visitors of all ages.

Do you plan to add more animals to the mobile farm?

Yes. We are always looking to expand our animal family as our farm grows. Any new animals will only join our mobile farm once they are fully settled, comfortable around people, and permitted under our licence and welfare requirements.

How much space do you need?

The amount of space required depends on the package and animals selected. Smaller packages can fit into many gardens and event spaces, while larger packages require additional room. We will discuss your venue during the booking process to ensure the space is suitable for both our animals and your guests. We can say from testing, a pony package does fit within 10m2 area comfortably.

Will a site visit be required before my booking?

In some cases, we may arrange a pre-booking site visit to assess access, available space, safety requirements, and suitability for our animals and equipment. This helps ensure your event runs smoothly and safely for both guests and animals.

How long does it take to set up?

We typically require around 30 minutes to set up before an event. For larger bookings or where additional equipment is needed, we may arrive up to one hour before the agreed start time to ensure everything is ready.

How long does a visit last?

Most visits last up to three hours. This allows guests plenty of time to meet and interact with the animals while ensuring the animals remain comfortable, relaxed, and well-rested throughout the experience.

Do you visit schools and care homes?

Yes. We are pleased to offer visits to schools, nurseries, care homes, community groups, and a variety of other organisations throughout Kent and East Sussex. Our visits can provide both educational and therapeutic benefits while creating enjoyable experiences for everyone involved.

Do you attend birthday parties and weddings?

Yes. We are available for birthday parties, weddings, school visits, care homes, community events, fetes, corporate events, and a variety of other special occasions. We are happy to discuss bespoke packages to suit your event.

How far do you travel?

We currently travel within approximately 20 miles of Pembury, Kent. If you are unsure whether your location falls within our service area, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your booking requirements.

Can you visit indoor venues?

Some of our animals may be suitable for certain indoor venues, however many of our animals require outdoor space for their welfare and comfort. Each venue is assessed individually, and we will discuss suitability during the booking process.

Are the animals friendly and used to people?

Absolutely. Our animals are handled regularly and interact with people on a daily basis at their home farm. They are accustomed to meeting visitors and are selected for their calm, friendly nature. Animal welfare is extremely important to us, and we only bring animals that are comfortable and happy around people.

Can guests feed the animals?

For the safety and wellbeing of our animals, guests are not permitted to feed them unless specifically instructed by a member of our team. This helps ensure the animals receive appropriate food and prevents accidental harm. Most people don’t realise a lot of types of food are unsafe for animals to consume, even by accident.

Do you provide hand washing facilities?

Yes. We encourage all visitors to clean their hands after interacting with animals and before eating or drinking. Additional hand washing facilities may be discussed depending on the event location.

Is a deposit required?

Yes. A deposit is required to secure your booking date. Full details regarding deposits, payments, and cancellations can be found in our Terms and Conditions.

What happens if it rains?

Light rain will not usually affect an event, and we can provide gazebos for shelter where appropriate. However, if weather conditions become unsafe for our animals, staff, or visitors, we may need to postpone or reschedule the event. Animal welfare and visitor safety will always remain our top priorities.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes. The Meadows Mobile Farm holds public liability insurance. If you require further information or documentation for a school, care home, venue, or organisation, please contact a member of our team.
